Evelyn & Stefano
A tale of love, patience, and perseverance between two wanderlust-filled souls. As a wedding filmmaker there are those amazing wedding days that are just a little extra special that you wish you could capture again and again. I feel so blessed to have had the honor to witness Evelyn & Stefano’s wedding day not once but TWICE. This wedding was long awaiting, highly anticipated, and it did not disappoint.
Iron & Ivy was the first vendor Evelyn & Stefano selected (other than their venue) and they booked me 3 years in advance. They were originally supposed to get married in 2020, but due to the pandemic they had to postpone their large celebration to 2021. In 2020 they said their vows at a small gathering with their families at what they lovingly refer to as “wedding part 1”, and booked me to capture it in addition to “wedding part 2” that took place in fall of 2021. Their celebration featured carefully selected details including world destinations as table-numbers and paper airplanes as seating cards, along with so many other personal touches that speak to Evelyn & Stefano’s affinity for travel, international heritage, and love of tacos.
This piece tells the beautiful story of the joys, trials, pains (and trains) Evelyn & Stefano have encountered, and the grace, love and gratitude they chose to face every second of it with.
“I want to continue taking every step of the future with you, hand-in-hand whether it’s down the aisle, towards the dance floor, onto an airplane, or anywhere else”
