Hi, I’m Brandi! Travel enthusiast, coffee aficionado, dog mom, and major Swiftie.
A storyteller at heart, I believe there is great power in pairing intentional narrative with elevated cinematography. With story at the heart of my artistry, I strive to create films that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but that also capture the very essence of the love shared between you and your partner.
I find great joy in building films that act as heirlooms that will be cherished by my couples and their families for generations.
The most rewarding and fulfilling aspect of my career is building films that will gracefully endure throughout time and literally outlive me. I'm not only preserving the legacy of each of my couples, I'm creating my own legacy in the process.

With a candid and cinematic-style approach to filmmaking, I specialize in blending elevated cinematography with emotional narratives to create a balanced and bespoke art piece that captures the true essence of my couples.
Each heirloom film is carefully and intentionally handcrafted, highly individualistic, and fueled by story. Putting literal pen to paper, the Iron & Ivy storyboarding process ensures that underneath beautiful imagery and key moments, lies a powerful story.
The name Iron & Ivy speaks to the strength of the storylines I create, the durability of those stories to stand the test of time, and the unique beauty each film holds — a delicate and beautiful balance.

My competitor in business but my ally in life, Josh and I first met on a TV set in Nashville TN as teens, and the rest is history! After getting married and moving to Virginia many years ago, we now both run separate film businesses. He’s my travel companion, board game partner, my best friend and my greatest support.
World Traveler
As a storyteller, I am constantly inspired by the beauty and diversity of the world around us. Exploring new cultures, landscapes, and experiences is one of my greatest passions, and I feel privileged to be able to incorporate this passion into my work as a wedding filmmaker. With a deep affinity for travel, my best life is lived overlooking the sea cliffs of Santorini, cruising the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean sea, getting lost exploring the side streets of Venice, or hiking uncharted trails in Iceland. It’s in these places that I find my greatest rest and inspiration. I believe that a life well-traveled is a life well-spent.
Dog Mom
Meet the littlest loves of my life.
Penny – my sweet English cream golden retriever, and Reese - my boisterous Chocolate lab. These two are my cuddle-buddies on long editing days and bring so much joy (and a little welcomed chaos) to our home.
Coffee Connoisseur
From the smooth and robust flavors of a good cold brew, to the velvety, frothy perfection of an Italian cappuccino, I take great pleasure in experiencing and indulging in the nuanced taste profiles of each blend. A lover of latte art, I enjoy the challenge of trying to create intricate designs that elevate the coffee-drinking experience. As a self-proclaimed coffee snob, I'm constantly experimenting with new brewing methods and blends, seeking out the perfect cup of coffee that satisfies both my discerning palate and my high standards.
Major Swiftie
I have a huge appreciation for the lyrical works of Taylor Swift. As a filmmaker who values intentional storytelling, I am continually amazed by Taylor’s ability to bring to life vivid narratives and powerful emotion through music. To be a Swiftie is to appreciate the art of storytelling and to recognize the value in preserving meaningful moments in time.
