✨ Client Testimonials from real-life I&I Couples ✨ Client Testimonials from real-life I&I Couples! ✨. The I&I experience as told by my sweet couples. This has me ugly crying and I'm not even mad about it. 🥺😭
✨Avoiding wedding hangover ✨ ⁣ Also known as ✨Avoiding wedding hangover ✨ ⁣
Also known as the post-wedding flu. Where are my fellow wedding vendors at? Because I know you know exactly what I’m referring to! The day after working a wedding where your body feels like you were hit by a dumpster truck and you just want to lay in bed all day long with the blinds closed 🥵⁣
⁣
I’m a big proponent of fueling your body for success, and wedding days are no different! Here are some of my tips to avoid (or at least significantly reduce) wedding vendor “hangover”⁣
⁣
 1) Stop eating empty carbs and processed sugar all day. ‼️‼️‼️ I know, I know, the packaged crackers are super convenient (and yummy) on wedding days but they will not provide the nourishment your hard-working muscles need to recover from running around and lugging heavy gear all day. Try having a good breakfast such as eggs and oatmeal, and adding more low-sugar, protein-rich snacks throughout day. ⁣
 ⁣
2) Hydrate TF up. I cannot stress this enough 🙌🏼 MAKE YOURSELF DRINK WATER unless you want to be extremely sore the next day. I drink 1/2-1 gallon per day and I feel my best when I squeeze in the full gallon. ⁣
⁣
3) Incorporate a healthy balance of lifting and cardio into your weekly routine. This one is where I tend to lose people, but it’s so important. The blunt truth is that one of the main contributing factors to WHY you feel so horrible after working a wedding, is because your body is not adequately equipped with the strength and stamina you need due to lack of physical training. Now, will working out solve all of your problems? - no, you still need to consume the right macros and hydrate your body, but working out certainly gives you a leg up because your body is more prepared to face a hard day. ⁣
⁣
4) Stretch before and after a wedding. Dynamic stretches before (to get you warmed up for the day) static stretches after (to stretch out your sore muscles and avoid having them tense up as much)⁣
⁣
5) Take magnesium at night when you get home. I call it my secret weapon pill. Magnesium helps your muscles relax and helps immensely if you take it before you start to feel muscle cramps/tightness. I just pop one or two before bed and wake up feeling grea
I love incorporating drone footage whenever possib I love incorporating drone footage whenever possible because it can really help set the scene to your wedding film. I have been FAA licensed since 2019 (which means I passed my part 107 exam and can legally fly a drone commercially) and love when the circumstances permit me to fly my drone for some spectacular shots!
Sound on 🔈 for the sweetest first look you’ve Sound on 🔈 for the sweetest first look you’ve ever seen 🥺
I’m not sure how @lukeandashleyphotography captu I’m not sure how @lukeandashleyphotography captured this moment so perfectly, but I’m so glad they did 🙌🏼 this is me, 100% authentically in my element, not just capturing your wedding day but having your back (or in this case...I guess your feet 🤣)
The way these two cuties look at each other 🥺
